As a freelancer, my most exciting project was the conversion of a historical canal house in the heart of Amsterdam.

From a not so functional 5 stories 17 century narrow house into a hospitality business and home for its new owner.

Making sure accessibility needs are met, a new hallway is added and two stories are converted into two different accommodation areas.

All furniture and design items were hand picked or made to measure to fit the design. Using both vintage treasures and new pieces helps create a special atmosphere with an emphasis on the house historical elements.
