This project aims to design a functional and up-to-date design for this 2 bedroom landed property in the countryside of Transilvania, Romania.

For this bedroom design the owner’s particular taste dictates the outcome. We integrated some techy items, like the remote controlled window shutters or the LED lighting that connects to wifi and can be adjusted using a mobile app.

The dark tones of the existing floor and ceiling beams are balanced by the contrasting plain white walls. The cocoon-like atmosphere is enhanced by the further use of darker tones for the furniture and natural materials.

A place to escape the urban noise, a place to recover, relax, regroup and enjoy a drink by the fireplace, taking in the slower pace that the countryside instils.
