This 2 storey duplex is designed for a young couple living in the busy city of Amsterdam. The design aim is to create a relaxing space, an internal oasis where they could recharge after a busy day.

Light plays an important role as more than half year Amsterdam has quite a cloudy weather. Their love for nature and entertainment are both fulfilled by integrating live plants throughout the living ‘floor’ where the living room connects with the dining area that opens up towards a green garden. Many karaoke parties are to be hosted, accompanied by freshly grilled food on the outdoor balcony. A bright and airy, simple designed way of living.
